Listen to and watch “In The Fire feat. Stian Shiver”, from the third studio album from autumn 2025 by Projekt Ich.
With “In The Fire feat. Stian Shiver”, Ulf Müller’s music project PROJEKT ICH releases the fifteenth and final single taken from their current third studio album “A Beautiful Day In Autumn”. The release is scheduled for March 27, 2026, via the German indie label Echozone and will be presented as an extensive package including the main single, a remix edition and an instrumental remix edition – accompanied by an official music video.
The title track “In The Fire” moves stylistically between indie dark pop, synthpop, and dark wave, unfolding a dense and almost cinematic atmosphere. At its core, the song tells a tragic and profoundly human story: What begins as a carefree moment — a bright morning, a family on the road, carried by lightness and intimacy — abruptly turns into catastrophe. A violent crash on a riverbank changes everything in an instant.
The vocals are provided by Dresden-based singer Stian Shiver, who was previously the frontman of the band Portash for many years before founding his solo project STIAN SHIVER. His distinctive voice adds emotional depth and intensity to the narrative, giving the song a haunting and lasting impact.
The B-side showcases another personal facet of PROJEKT ICH: As with all releases in this single series, all B-sides are exclusively performed by Ulf Müller himself. The main single is further complemented by instrumental versions of the original tracks, highlighting the detailed and carefully crafted arrangements.
Remixes by FragileChild (DE), MaXi-P (SE), Talking To Ghosts (DE), Restriction 9 (SE), and Tonschleifer (CH) add further sonic diversity. Each artist brings their own signature style, resulting in a wide stylistic range – from club-oriented interpretations to more experimental approaches.
With its combination of cinematic storytelling, emotional depth and modern sound aesthetics, this release marks the compelling conclusion to the 15-part single series and once again underlines the artistic versatility of PROJEKT ICH.
