The first act of a dictatorship is silence.
To impose a single way of thinking, one must first erase the evidence that an alternative ever existed. It begins with books, continues with the places that harbor counterculture, and ends by stifling music.
Wherever critical thinking breathes, fire must follow.

“Burn it” tells the story of this planned annihilation. The precise moment when they attempt to reduce the imagination to ashes, leaving only a humanity under control.
When culture evaporates, obedience begins.

Le premier acte d’une dictature est le silence.
Pour instaurer la pensée unique, il faut d’abord effacer les preuves qu’une alternative a existé. On commence par les livres, on poursuit par les lieux qui abritent la contre-culture, on finit par étouffer la musique.
Partout où l’esprit critique respire, le feu doit passer.

“Burn it” raconte cette mise à mort programmée. L’instant précis où l’on tente de réduire l’imaginaire en cendres pour ne laisser qu’une humanité sous contrôle.
Quand la culture s’évapore, l’obéissance commence.
