Music video for single “My Sorrow Knows No Bounds, My Fury Hath No Equal” from
the new EP entitled “Malaür” by The Marquis is Dead, formerly known as The
Marquis.
This is the first release under the new moniker, and a much more intimate album
then what fans normally are used to hearing.
Included are 2 other original songs, “May Saint Peter’s Gates Burn to the Ground”
and “The Hand of God could not Smite me Down” (featuring Prophan), as well as 3
remixes of “My Sorrow Knows No Bounds, My Fury Hath No Equal” by Skelesys
(Oraculo Records), Alessandro Nero (Kind Crime Records), and The Undertakers
Tapes (Area Z Records).
The EP releases officially on 4 August 2023 with X-IMG Records in Berlin, Germany.

“The single reflects heavily on past mistakes, nostalgia, love, loss, regrets, and
longing. An attempt to re-conciliate with oneself and make some sort of peace, or
put the pieces of the past together in a way that make some sort of sense. It’s
intimate, very intimate, so for the video I stripped myself bare (literally) and we
kept the decor to a minimum, I felt naked physically and emotionally.”
