Night & Day is my homage to Romeo and Juliet, blending the spirit of the ’80s with drum machines, analog synths, and the sound of Faithless bassist Stan White. It’s about that fleeting moment between night and day — the idea that if you never part and face the morning, the night before might last forever. The melancholy gives way to a groovy, uplifting refrain that drifts into a dreamy instrumental outro.
