Descriptions:
SPANKTHENUN revisits the original release that started it all five years ago. This updated version has been completely re-recorded, featuring new and exciting vocals from Ins3ct, which breathe fresh energy and life into this classic SPANKTHENUN track.
“Slow Suicide” is not about suicide in the traditional sense. Rather, it addresses the behaviors and choices we make today that we often regret tomorrow. It explores the things we convince ourselves are good for us, even though we know they might lead to regret later on. This can include health-related issues, such as poisoning our bodies with “food” from popular brands, neglecting exercise, not getting enough sleep, or indulging in drugs and alcohol. These are experiences we can all relate to. The song also comments on mindless scrolling and our addiction to social media, as well as the constant consumption of meaningless content. This song might even be about a toxic relationship we just can’t get ourselves out of.

INS3CT MACHINE – God Control (SPANKTHENUN Remix)
The provocative industrial act SPANKTHENUN has always operated at the fringes, using confrontational sound and aesthetic to dissect social norms. Their work dives headfirst into the psychology of subculture, belief systems, and rebellion. ‘BLAK’ continues this trajectory, presenting their most ambitious conceptual work to date.

We are SPANKTHENUN… the voice of corroded and wired unrest, born from a burst of static and fury. We forged four full-length assaults on sanity and ripped open dozens of singles and remix EPs with surgical precision. We dragged the likes of Leæther Strip, Slighter and Scott Fox into forced servitude and immersed in the maelstrom of broken bone and raw steel and made them unwilling collaborators in our sonic revolution.
Every dark moon cycle we inject fresh auditory venom into the blackest nights and watch dance floors convulse in electronic hypnotic dissodance. We have stood alongside The Haxans, Leæther Strip, PIG, Skatenigs, Suicide Commando, I Ya Toyah and Christian Death to spread our contagion. And, we also do some Cyberpunk [CARBON D3CAY]. TYTA. MMXXV.
