Mourning Candle – “Sycophants”

Mourning Candle’s newest single, “Sycophants,” arrives on the heels of the darkwave duo’s debut release, “Never,” earlier in 2025. Back at it are Leslie Irene Benson (vocalist and lyricist) and Anson Taylor (guitarist, synth programmer and songwriter), creating a catchy, cinematic soundscape for the darker side of the dance floor.

“Sycophants” was produced, mixed and mastered by California’s Nick McLaren (The Static Architect) of STATIC STUDIOS (@staticarchitect).
