All We Are (Are Memories) tells a story of feeling helpless in a world you no longer understand when the person you love is ripped away from it. The anguish and desperation vocally sung in the chorus “How foolish could we be, to think we’d find our clarity” drives home the message that some things in life are destined to fail and die no matter how hard we try to change it. The song was lyrically and thematically inspired by the poem Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe & Elden Ring lore.
